PreSchool-Grade 1-The perils of a loose tooth that refuses to come out are chronicled in this beginning reader. The simple, rhyming text, with only a few words per page, contains some challenging vocabulary such as "twist" and "crunching." The story is lean and the pastel watercolor illustrations are bland. Since there are many books available on the subject, this one won't be missed.
