This painting was done by a local artist and is very colorful :) It is of an old house in our town that was recently torn down. The rough frame is made of old wood. The canvas painting has been stretched to a newer wood frame that sits inside the old outer frame. I'm assuming this has been done in oil due to the rougher textures, but it very well could be acrylic. The overall dimensions are 17" x 21 1/4". Emmy has painted her name on the bottom right corner. The second picture is much harder to describe. Is it antique? Is it a replica of an antique? I simply cannot tell. It is 9 1/4" across at the bottom and 11 5/8" high. It is 1/2" thick on a solid piece of wood that looks like plywood, which is another reason we are uncertain as to it's age. It has scratches across the picture that show when the light hits it a certain way. This would be a great addition to a very primitive style presentation.
