In honor of their Ancient Egyptian studies I have created this awesome soap with the most sacred of fragrances in those times:
Kyphi /Kapet ~
On a daily basis, the ritualized burning of incense in ancient Egypt consisted of frankincense in the morning, myrrh during the day, and Kapet (Kyphi from the greek) in the evening.
According to Egyptologists, Kyphi played an important role as a sacred fragrance in many ceremonies.
Kyphi recipes are inscribed on the walls of the ancient temples of Edfu and Philae, with pictographs of Kyphi being used and recipes for making it.
This bar of Kyphi/Kapet soap has strong notes of cinnamon, frankincense and myrrh.
For more information about Kapet/Kyphi:
This listing is for one (1) bar. Sizes are approximate; 4.5 - 5.8 oz each.
