This is an 11" large dinner plate from the mid-1950s by John B Taylor. The hand-painted vintage Harvest design is of fruit and vines with a green edging. This is a versatile pattern that works well with a wide range of decor. The dinner plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. As in all stoneware, there are natural blemishes that occur during the manufacturing process but these are minimal on these high quality dishes. A check of on-line dinnerware replacement websites shows this large dinner plate to have an average cost of $35.00. Our starting bid is a fraction of that price. There are 6 dinner plates available. This auction is only for ONE plate.
We also have a separate listing for bread/salad plates of the same pattern and we will gladly give a 10% discount and some freebies if you purchase the whole lot. Shipping will also be calculated based on actual weight of the items purchased.
