> Believed to be from the early 1920's, these wooden blocks measure 1.75 x 1.75 inches square, and have texture, detail and colors that you (and your baby) will love
> Each block has (i) one side (shown in photos) with a raised, carved wood image in relief with the word also in raised relief (ii) a flat side with an ink stamped different image and word (iii) a veneered side with a large cutout letter of the alphabet (iv) another flat side with an ink stamped large letter of the alphabet, and two channel cut striped sides with the tops of the cuts painted red or blue
> The images and stripes on the blocks are painted in assorted primary colors of red, blue, yellow and green

CONDITION: Blocks have been played with over the years, and have the normal scratches, dings and minor chips of well used toys. The lettering is still legible and the paint is largely intact, with some minor worn areas in the grooves of the wood grain. The edges of the blocks have wear with rounding, smoothness, and occasional dings and chips.
