This is a very old, brass and real antler candle holder and dinner bell. The antler stands on a circular brass base and functions as the main stem from which the brass candle holders and bell are attached. There is a bell ringer that is on two ring holders behind the bell. A twisted brass wire holds the two candle holders and the 2 1/2" high dinner bell together. It is removable for easy cleaning. The metal has some patina but also a richness that only aged brass displays. The deer antler is real and is wonderfully preserved. The ensemble is especially eye-catching because of its design. It is 12" high and 10" across. The base is 4 1/2" in diameter. No metal polish was used on this piece as we do not wish to alter its vintage appeal.
This brass and antler candle holder and dinner bell is a vintage piece that holds its place nicely among other odds and ends. This is almost 50 years old.
