This is an ornate, taper candlestick holder from the early 1900s. It is made of heavy gauge brass. It has a round base with a 2" long handle and the main stem rises up to a height of 2 1/2" with a 3 1/2" diameter. The holder is artistically made, with a leaf pattern on the rim and the handle. The cup is securely screwed to the base and can be unscrewed for easy cleaning. It has the same pattern that decorates the base. It comes with a candle snuffer. The snuffer has a swiveled bell that extends from a 9" long handle. This candlestick holder and snuffer set is unmarked but show very good craftmanship in their detailing. They are in perfect condition and display very well as a set or as part of an ensemble.
What a wonderful gift for a house warming or an addition to a brass collection!
