These have become VERY popular to use under the overhang of bars or kitchen islands. It gives the "appearance" that the brace is actually holding up the granite overhang or island or bar overhang. A nice way to dress up a kitchen space!
PLEASE NOTE: There are some who sell this design but WITHOUT the finish. They are selling just the bare cast iron product. Even MORE Frustrating is that they are listing them in the "Antique & Garden" hardware category on ebay in order to pass them off for more money. Ugh.....They will say that the "finish" may vary from the picture. This is because the product has not been finished & sealed. Ours mirror the pictures below beautifully. They are heavy Cast Iron & the finish has been "Antiqued" (to LOOK old...they are NEW) & the finish is sealed to protect your wall (NO iron "rust" to rub off on your hands or transfer to your wall. And yes....the finish is the same on BOTH sides.
