This listing is for a great old tin galvanized 4 quart oil or water can that measures 13" tall, 11" from the tip of the spout to the end of the handle and 6 3/4" in diameter. This old can has a seam around the bottom where the bottom is attached to the upper part of the can. There is a place where the seam has come apart, so I doubt the can would hold liquid without being repaired. The bottom of the can is rounded. When I first looked at the can, I immediately thought of the old oil cans that service stations used to use to put oil in the older autos. This can doesn't look like it was ever used for oil, so I presume it was probably used for water.
