.Offered is a fabulous antique French ART NOUVEAU JARDINIERE or CACHE POT, PLANTER from SAINT AMAND, FRANCE.

This factory was established in 1718 by PIERRE-JOSEPH FAUQUEZ.

It was located in the north east of France. They made soft paste porcelain in the SEVRES style from 1815 to 1877.

This beautiful antique jardiniere features not only and ART NOUVEAU theme, but also an ART NOUVEAU shape!

The mouth to this jardiniere fans out like a flower and the two handles become flowers.

It has a pierced rim in the front and back. It has a deep purple to a lilac purple background which features white, purple, green and yellow flowers with green leaves on both the front and back with gold highlights.

This is a very imposing piece in size as it measures 11 INCHES TALL and 15 INCHES WIDE.

The foot measures 7.5 INCHES WIDE by 5.5 INCHES front to back.

It is in excellent condition for its age with no chips or cracks. There is a small glaze skip on the edge of the handle and some glaze crazing from age.
