This flower is bright orange, red and yellow and is happy under almost any conditions. Very easy to grow from seed and drought tolerant.
Growing 12-24" tall, it is a long lasting cut flower or if you want a splash of color to a large area, this is the right choice. I should mention that this plant will not do well in shade-it loves full sun. Any type of soil is ok with this one.
Zones 1-10 and it grows well all over North America. It is the state flower of Oklahoma.
Sow seeds in fall, winter or spring, about 1/8" deep in full sun. Keep seeds moist until germination. At temps of 55-75, germination should be in 15-45 days.
Blooms for almost all season, March through October, depending on your weather conditions.
